Use Optiio on clear terms.

Last updated: September 9, 2026. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Optiio mobile app and this website, operated by RedHibiscus LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, downloading the app, or using Optiio, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What Optiio is

Optiio is a ministry app for publishers. It helps you keep return visits, people, and Bible-study progress organized. Records are written to the phone first and can sync to your account when a network connection is available. Optiio is not affiliated with any religious organization and does not replace official congregation tools or reporting.

Your account

To use the app, you must create an account through the sign-in flow we provide. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity that occurs under your account. Contact us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

You must be old enough to enter a binding agreement in your place of residence, or have a parent or guardian accept these Terms on your behalf.

Subscriptions and billing

Optiio may offer paid subscription plans that unlock features or continued use of the service. Current pricing, plan length, and any free trial are shown in the app and on the applicable store listing before you purchase. We do not list specific prices in these Terms because they may change and can vary by region.

Optiio is available on iPhone and Android. Subscriptions are sold as in-app purchases through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account, depending on where you bought the app. Your purchase is also subject to the store's own terms, including the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement and the Google Play Terms of Service.

Unless you cancel, a subscription automatically renews for the same period at the then- current price. The store will charge your payment method within the renewal window it defines (on the App Store, typically within 24 hours before the end of the current period).

You can manage or cancel an App Store subscription in your Apple ID account settings, or a Google Play subscription in your Google Play account settings. Canceling stops future renewals; it does not usually refund the current period. Deleting the app alone does not cancel your subscription.

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under its policies. RedHibiscus LLC does not process those refunds directly. If pricing for a renewal changes, the applicable store will disclose the change according to its rules before you are charged the new price.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Optiio for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to access another publisher's account or records
• Interfere with the app, sync service, or related infrastructure
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse the service beyond normal personal use
• Store information you are not allowed to keep under applicable law or the policies of your congregation or organization

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.

Your records

You own the ministry records you enter. Optiio is designed so that synced records stay associated with the authenticated publisher who owns them. How we handle account and ministry information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of how the service works alongside these Terms.

Signing out clears the local copy on that device. Records that already synchronized remain with the account until deleted through an available product control or support process.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep Optiio available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may change, sync may be delayed, and we may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the app or website. We are not liable for data loss on a device when records have not yet synchronized, or for loss caused by signing out before sync completes.

Disclaimers

Optiio is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, RedHibiscus LLC disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will meet every ministry or reporting requirement you may have.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RedHibiscus LLC and its officers, members, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of Optiio. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for Optiio subscriptions in the twelve months before the claim or (b) fifty U.S. dollars (US$50). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, the limits apply only to the extent allowed.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of Optiio after an update means you accept the revised Terms. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice through the app, this website, or another reasonable channel when practicable.
